The Epiphany Celebration starts with a parade from the church to the bayou. The parade was bit bit haphazard; at one point we heard a guy on the phone to the color guard asking them, "why didn't you wait? You left the rest of the parade behind!" The thing that I noticed was that every police, sheriff and all other security people were armed to the teeth. Only took two years in London for me to think its odd for parade marshals to be packing serious heat.
