Push button

I was really taken with the SIZE of these signs instructing you on how to use the signals in Chicago; they must be about 16 inches tall. The first word is "Push" it is obscured on this one. If a sign can yell at you these certainly do. May be pedestrians in Chicago are just more aggressive than elsewhere and need to be kept in line - graphically.

Interesting the things that strike people's interest. The sign looks quite okay to me, perhaps because this is a loud town I live in. Maybe you have just become more civilized since moving to London? It's a pretty civilized place that seems to have roses growing by every door.

And, just to be a bit non-PC, from the background, this area maybe looks like an immigrant enclave. EVERYONE knows that if you talk - or write - english VERY LOUDLY people who speak a different language will understand it. Besos.:)

The signs are actually 24 inches tall. They to have facinated me because the ones we have in the suburbs are only about 6 inches tall.
